Assembly of A132098430
• Assemble outer ring (16),
using pipe and hammer, snap
ring (23).
• Check axis preload value (K),
using a torque meter
• Disassemble snap ring (23).
• Assemble shim (5) and snap
ring (23).
• Hit the shaft, from both sides
in order to set the axis.
• Check axis preload value (W),
using a torque meter.
• The difference between value
(W) and value (K) must be
0÷3 kgcm.
• If the value is not correct
change shim setting (5) in
order to obtain the right value.
• Assemble oil seal (30), cap
(29), using pipe and hammer.

• Assemble inner ring (16) on
shaft (10), using pipe and
hammer.
• Assemble snap ring (22) on
shaft (11).
• Insert gear (2) inside housing.
• Assemble pre-mounted shaft
(10), paying attention to fit the
gear (2) previously inserted.
• Assemble taper roller bearing
(17), shim (5) and snap ring
(23).
