• Multi-core cables may not be used. Use one cable per lamp.
• Check for the correct lamp current (esp. during preheating). If needed adjust current settings (ask supplier for details).
Note:
The lamp cable has influence to lamp ignition, operation parameter and ballast safety circuits. In case of
unexpected behavior the cable type and layout should be checked (e.g. coupling capacities against earth ...) ;
Note:
situation may vary for each different site
5 Status indication
Status information is shown at the display of the control panel 'frontend'.
Depending on operation software selected operation states can be signalised via relay 1...4.
A number of status LEDs directly at the base unit give additional status information:
• lamp status LEDs [S1]:
• red: ON = lamp fault | blinking = in start-up sequence (only if auto-restart is activated)
• green: ON = lamp on | blinking = preheating
• both LEDs OFF = lamp off
• ballast status LED [S3] 'ballas on':
• yellow: ON = ballast section powered (lamp operation possible) | OFF = ballast power off
• status LEDs [S2] for selected interfaces:
• 1. yellow: ON = all interlock contacts are closed | OFF = at least one interlock contact is open
• 2. yellow: ON fast blinking = connection to front end OK | slow blinking = connection lost
• 3. yellow: ON blinking = modbus communication via [X12]
• 4. yellow: ON = switch 1 activated (100...250V AC connected)
• 5. yellow: ON = switch 2 activated (contacts closed)
