• Do not store the power tool near sources of high temperatures and
expose it to direct sun rays.
• The screwdriver should be protected against temperatures over 40 ° C.
• Before the screwdriver is repaired, maintained or to be stored for a
longer period of time, take out the rechargeable battery or battery
unit from the screwdriver.
• A soft and dry cloth should be used to clean the screwdriver. Do not
use any detergent or alcohol.
• Battery fluid may leak from the screwdriver in extreme situations. If
leakage is found, proceed as follows:
• Carefully wipe the fluid off with a piece of cloth. Avoid contact of the
fluid with skin or eyes.
• If the fluid comes in contact with the skin, the place on your body
should be washed with plenty of water, alternatively the fluid can
be neutralised with a mild acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar. If the
fluid penetrates the eyes, they should be rinsed with large amount
of water for at least 10 minutes. Obtain medical assistance.
• Take precautions not to short contacts in the battery or rechargeable
batteries. Fire hazard!
• Do not throw used batteries or rechargeable batteries to fire!
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
The cordless screwdriver can be used with a range of screwdriver tips
and bits with shanks of different lengths and hexagonal cross-section
of 6.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
OPERATION OF THE CORDLESS SCREWDRIVER
Before the power tool is used, insert the batteries into the
battery holder. The batteries should be inserted correctly paying
attention to polarity.
• Press the buttons ( 4 ) and take out the battery holder ( 3 ) ( fig. A ).
• Insert four AA type batteries, and then slide the battery holder ( 3 )
into the screwdriver handle.
INSERTING / REMOVAL OF WORKING TIPS
• Insert a working tip directly into the holder ( 1 ).
• Make sure the working tip is inserted all the way and firmly
secured.
When screws are tightened using the screwdriver, a pilot hole should
be made beforehand.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / OFF
• Switching on – press the switch button ( 5 ) and hold in this
position.
• Switching off – release the pressure applied on the switch button
( 5 ) ( fig. B ).
FORWARD / REVERSE ROTATIONS
The direction of the screwdriver spindle is selected using the forward
/ reverse switch (
2 ) ( fig. C ).
• Forward directions – set the direction switch ( 2 ) to the most
forward position.
• Reverse directions – set the direction switch ( 2 ) to the most
rearward position.
* It is reserved that in some case the position of the switch in relation to rotations
can be different than described. Refer to graphical symbols located on the switch
or device housing.
Do not change direction of rotations, when the screwdriver spindle
is rotating. Before the power tool is switched on, make sure the
forward / reverse direction switch is in the correct position.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Before any adjusting, servicing, repairing activities or if the
screwdriver is intended to be stored for a longer period of time,
remove the batteries or battery pack from the screwdriver.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
• It is recommended to clean the tool, each time after it has been
used.
• Do not use water or other fluids for cleaning.
• The screwdriver should be cleaned using a dry piece of cloth.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, because they may
damage plastic parts.
• The screwdriver should be always stored in a dry place, out of reach
of children.
All faults should be eliminated by an authorised service centre of the
manufacturer.
