Start Line Proximity Mode
This mode tells you the perpendicular distance between your bow and the start line. You enter the
location of the start line by setting one reference point into the device near the committee boat and
another one near the pin.
An
offset
that accounts for the distance between the tip of your bow and the location on your boat
where the SC-1 is actually mounted can be set in the
device settings
. The device settings also allow you
to choose between displaying start line proximity in
meters or boat lengths
.
