B.6.3 Factory Reset

Resetting to factory default settings can be done through the web interface or via a special software on the USB port.

Factory Reset from the Web Interface

Use the links provided on

System Tool

Factory reset

and follow the on screen instruction.

After rebooting, the V-Probe will be configured with default factory settings and DHCP address mode.

Factory Reset from USB

This procedure can be used when the V-Probe cannot be discovered via V-Probe Discovery and its IP address is unknown.

B.7 Safe Shut Down

Safely shutting down the V-Probe is recommended. To perform safe shut down, press the power key on the

front panel

. Wait for

the front panel LED to turn off before disconnecting the power cable, then disconnect the charger.

Warning

Removing the power supply prior to safely shutting down could result in data corruption.
