Close the two drain outlets again.

Pour in oil at both the filler necks (2) until the oil
level on the inspection glass (1) reaches the
”max.“ mark.
§
Allow the vacuum pump to run for a short time,
then check that the oil level is correct in the upper
inspection glass.

IMPORTANT
Only use an oil which has been recommended by the pump manufacturer! Read the section on
“Process oils” for details o f the recommended oils. If an oil with different properties is used,
this may lead to disruptions in operations or to damage!
IMPORTANT
Different types of oil must never be mixed!

Screw the cap back onto the filler and re-a ttach the panel.

Dispose of the used oil in accordance with regulations. Take it to a used oil collection point.
13.3.5.2 Cleaning the suction filter
Clean the suction filter (5) for the vacuum pump by
blowing air through it or washing it ou t. The regularity
with which this has to be done depends on the dirt
content in the air taken in. The suction filter is located
at the suction fitting for the pump under the lid.
