Carefully detach the plastic tube (7) from the
vacuum sensor (8).
§
Release the plug-in connection (9). The plug can
be removed by pressing the holders on the sides
apart.

The board (12) is held in place with 5 locking pins
(10). The board can be removed by pressing the
catches (11) in.
§
Install the new board in the opposite order. Make
sure that the catches (11) snap out when the
board is inserted.

Insert the plug (9) and connect the hose (7) to the
vacuum sensor (8) again.
§
R e-insert the metal shield (5) using the two
screws (6). Also attach the earthing cable (13).
§
Close the electrical cabinet.

13.3.5
Maintenance of the vacuum pump
IMPORTANT
Maintenance work on the vacuum pump must be performed by a skilled techn ician!
Recommendation
Have it fully serviced by the VC999 Customer Service Department every 300 hours in service, or
at least every year.
13.3.5.1 Topping up oil
IMPORTANT
The oil becomes discoloured if foreign matter such as liquids or dirt are drawn in from the
vacuum pump. If this happens, the oil must be changed immediately, otherwise the vacuum
pump may be damaged. The procedure is described in the section on “Oil changes”.
The oil needs to be topped up as soon as the oil level drops below the “min.“ mark.
