Setting a Static IP Address
To set a static IP address:
1. Launch the setup program (see below) to display the
IPv4 Network Setting
page.
2. Use the remote control to enter a static
IP Address
as well as
Netmask
,
Default Gateway
,
and
DNS
information. If in doubt, get this information from your system administrator.
3. When done navigate to
Finish
and click
OK
on the remote control.
STB Configuration
This topic explains how to configure various STB parameters such as start mode and SD or
HD Output resolution.
To configure the set top box using the remote control:
1. Power up the box and wait for screen that looks like this.
2. When the animated "Starting" circle is displayed, start pressing the Help (?) button on
the remote and continue until the Password page is displayed. (For more details see
Displaying the Setup Page on page 9.)
