Head restraint position
The middle of the head restraint should be
at eye level. If this is not possible for
extremely tall persons, set to highest
position, and set to lowest position for
small persons.
Active head restraints

In the event of a rear-impact, the active
head restraints tilt slightly forwards. The
head is more effectively supported by the
head restraint and the danger of whiplash
in the neck area is reduced.
Note
Only approved objects or components
must be attached to the head restraint of
the unoccupied front passenger’s seat.
