With the key in the ignition switch and the
hand brake applied, hold button
x
in the
driver’s door depressed for approx.
1 second. The tailgate opens electrically.

To close
Hold button
r
on the remote control
depressed until the tailgate is closed.
– or –
With the key in the ignition switch, press
button x in the driver’s door until the
tailgate is closed.
– or –

Press button F in the tailgate. The tailgate
closes electrically.
To lock, press button
p
on the radio
remote control.
Tailgate opening and closing is indicated
by the rear turn signal lights flashing three
times.
If the luggage compartment is not closed
within 20 minutes of opening, the button in
the tailgate is deactivated.
