Relubricating of lifting actuator spindle on ERGO 60-100-140

The gear of the actuator is lubricated for life and does not need to be serviced.
•
The spindle and the spindle nut in the actual actuator are not lubricated for life and
therefore need relubricating.
•
The actuator is thoroughly lubricated on delivery with Mobilith SHC460 from Mobil.
•
Perform relubrication after approx. 1,000 lifts/lowerings, or if the sound changes. If the
actuator starts to make a screeching sound, the spindle must be lubricated before the
machine is run again.

Move the bowl arms to the bottom position
•
Disconnect the power supply from the machine. The mains power must be disconnected
•
Remove the machine’s back plate by taking out the screws that hold it in place

Loosen the earth cable

If the machine has a brake fitted,
dismantle the two resistors attached to
the guide plate for bowl arms
•
Use a cable tie to fix the resistors to the
frame

Ensure that the guide plate for bowl arms is put back in exactly the same position:
•
Draw two dark lines with marker pen right over the top of the guide plate for bowl arms
and on the crossbar to which the plate is secured. Use a scriber to score a mark on top of
the marker pen lines
•
Loosen the screws holding the guide plate for bowl arms in place and remove the plate –
NB: Take care not to damage the microswitch, which is in contact with the top right side of
the plate
