ProStar 335 Photodiode Array Detector Control Manual - 32 -
Consequently, by examining the Purity value values across a
peak, you can quickly determine the presence of contaminants.
Enter the starting wavelength for the purity wavelength range in
the Min Wavelength field. The entered value must be greater
than minimal wavelength collected.
Enter the ending wavelength for the purity wavelength range in
the Max wavelength field. The entered value must be less than
maximum wavelength collected.
The following values are used to trigger the purity calculation.
The purity calculation is start when the absorbance at the defined
wavelength goes above the threshold value.
Enter the viewing wavelength for the purity calculation in the
Viewing wavelength field. The entered value must be between
the min and max purity wavelength.
Enter a threshold value for the purity calculation in the threshold
field.
