ProStar 335 Photodiode Array Detector Control Manual - 37 -
the Threshold value for optimal results. The Level Sense function
is turned on and off by time programming.
Time slice:
Time slicing allows the Peak Sensor relay to be actuated or
pulsed at regularly spaced intervals during the run. The time
slicing can be turned on or off (field at specified times, for
example, On Time 2.5 min, Off Time 12.7 min. This parameter
cannot be set at initial conditions (time 0.00). Time slicing may
also be triggered by ProStar 335 peak or level sensing. On Peak
triggering turns on time slicing when a peak is detected, Off Peak
triggering turns off time slicing when any peak event is detected.
On Level triggering turns on time slicing when the signal is above
a threshold value, Off Level triggering turns off time slicing when
the signal is below a threshold value.
The Period parameter is the time between Peak Sensor relay
actuations during a time slice event. A relay period of 30 causes
the Peak Sensor relay to actuate every 30 seconds while time
slicing is turned on.
Pulse Relay:
The Pulse Relay function activates the Peak Sensor relay at the
specified time. This parameter cannot be set at initial conditions
(time 0.00).
