2.1.3 Rear Panel Components

Exhaust fans Two exhaust fans cool the high vacuum pump and internal elec-
tronic assemblies.

Speaker A grid-covered speaker amplifies an audible signal present during
leak testing.

Roughing/Foreline
Connection An NW-25 connection to the TriScroll 610 pump.

Power cable 120 or 220 VAC power cable, depending on the configuration. The
power configuration is factory-set.

Phono Jack
(under manifold) Connection for an optional loudspeaker or headphones and an
optional rate meter or chart recorder.

Circuit Breakers The POWER circuit breaker provides AC to the leak detector and to
the TriScroll 610 (see Figure 1-2 on page 1-6). The MAIN POWER
switch inside the front panel access door subsequently turns the
leak detector on or off.
The ELECTRONICS circuit breaker provides independent protec-
tion to the power distribution within the leak detector.
Both breakers are push-to-reset.
