Synchronize Receiver and Handset
The receiver and handset of the remote control system
must be initially paired before the
fi
rst use.
1. If not already done, place a 9 V
alkaline
battery in
the handset.
2. Identify the RESET button on the front of the re-
ceiver.
3. With a thin object, press and hold the receiver’s
reset button until you hear one short an done long
beeps. Release the button after the second beep.
4. Within the next 20 seconds, press the small
fl
ame
button ( ) on the handset until you hear two short
beeps con
fi
rming the pairing is set.
If you hear a long beep, the pairing has not been
done or the wires are not connected correctly.
This is a one time setting only and is not required when
changing the batteries in the remote handset. The
remote control system is now ready to use.
