3.9 Adjusting the tool bars
The depth of the tool bar is controlled by means of a ram on the centre section.

If the depth of the tool bar on the centre and wing sections is not the same, adjust this by slackening
and moving the sleeve (G) along the slot in the side section's coupling arm (H).
NOTE!
Different tool bar depths may also be due to different seeding depth settings or incorrect
adjustment of the wing sections, see ”3.6 Adjusting sowing depth” on page 33 and ”3.7 Adjusting
the wing sections” on page 34.

The working depth of the front tool bar in relation to the rear ones can be set by means of the row
of holes in the adjusting lever (I). If the setting of the front tool bar differs widely from that of the
rear bars, check the horizontal alignment of the seed drill, see ”3.5 Horizontal alignment” on page
32. Wear plates (F, see the Spare Parts list) are fitted when theCrossboard tines have worn down
so that about 60 mm remains below the lower hole.
