3. Close all tools and software that block broadcast packages (don't open the system's built-in firewall)
4. When entering the configuration through the browser and setting IP, it suddenly disconnects
unexpectedly. For example, after the power failure, the device cannot be searched, and the
configuration reset IP can be entered through the console port.
b) Fail to open COM port
1. Ensure the network working status is normal, wether can “Ping” the server or not.
2. Check the working status to see if the port is occupied or not.
3. In VCOM mode, check to see if the "VCOM Utility" is configured correctly or not.
4. Delete the corresponding COM port in the regedit and remap.
c) Data transmission failure
1. Ensure the serial port can be open normally.
2. Observe whether the system light is quick flashed or slow flashed. Quick flashed means there is
data transmission. If there is no quick flashed, check the connection between the serial port and the
upper end network, and check the connection between the lower end serial port equipment.
d) Forget the password
1. Press “reset” button for 5s to recover to factory default.
e) The data transmission is error codes
1. Check if the wiring is correct or not. The RS485 wiring is 1A+, 2B-.
2. Check if the wire distance exceeds standard distance and wire quality (also via extension line
transceiver or optoelectronic isolation).
3. Check if the baud rate setting is matching with the end device or not.
4. Apart from the client's upper end software, check if it can receive normal data by the network or
serial Port debugging assistant. If it can receive normal data, maybe the problem is related to the
packaging mechanism. You can go to "Port Configure" to set the length of packaging and the waiting
time for packaging.
