Slide the nut over the outlet nipple and install the outlet nipple in the outlet plumbing. Use
Teflon tape to seal the connection and tighten with channel locks. Do no over

tighten the
nipple in the outlet plumbing connection or damage could occur.
5.
Install the rubber washer gasket in the nut and tighten the outlet plumbing to the water me-
ter outlet connection. Tighten it hand tight then turn it an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn with
channel locks. Do not over
-
tighten or damage could occur.
