Users
The second item in the system settings menu can be used to confirm the users who can access the DVR functions.
The figure above shows the list of available users. For this model, there can be up to seven normal users and one
administrator.
Click [Edit] button to enter into the [User Edit] interface shown as below:
The user name can consist of up to eight characters (numbers and letters); the password consists of 8 characters
(numbers and letters, fixed length).
Note:
The Password for the first login is “00000000”. It is strongly recommended to change the password after
the first login for safety.
The user can change the own Password without Administrator’s authorization.
The password must be eight characters long.
If the administrator level password or user level password is enabled, the password has to be
customized.
If the administrator password is deactivated and the user password is customised, the default
administrator password “admin” will be empty and enabled automatically.
Please don’t lose or forget the password for any reason! Take a note for the set passwords and keep
them in Safe Site.
