- Remove first the internal nut and its screw and then the external 4 screws to take out the cover.
-Connect the incoming mains wires (usually brown, blue, green/yellow) together with the same colors wires of mains input of the 12V power
supply and THEN connect the two pairs to the board on J2 connector. (PIN 2 in the middle, blue wires, PIN 3 on the right, brown wires).
In the PIN1 on the left, the board’s ground cable green and yellow is already installed
and should not be removed.
-Connect the ground cable coming from mains to the pin fixed on metal near the ground label together with the ground cable from power
supply.
-The unit is now ready to be connected to the mains power (230 V 50hz or 120 V 60hz), is now warming up and will be in this condition
until the two green leds on the bottom will stop blinking. Depending on the model it will take around 3 hours to reach the shooting
temperature.
PLEASE NOTE THAT, AS ALL POWERED EQUIPMENT FROM THE ELECTRICITY GRID REQUIRING INSTALLATION,
IT IS SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH RULES OF THE COUNTRY IN WHICH IT IS INSTALLED
For section and types of wires, fuses, suitability of materials to installation sites etc..
IF YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE FUSE, USE ONLY FUSE WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS:
- FOR 230 V MAINS VOLTAGE: CERAMIC BODY FILLED WITH QUARTZ, REF. STD. EN60127-2-3/DIN41660, 6.3 A, H
1500 A (EXAMPLE OMEGA GT520231)
- FOR 120 V MAINS VOLTAGE: CERAMIC BODY FILLED WITH QUARTZ, REF. STD. EN60127-2-3/DIN41660, 10 A, H
1500 A
While connecting the machine to the mains power, it is
raccomended to never disconnect existing ground cable.
The fact of disconnecting or modifing existing cables voids
the warranty and can cause troubles or accidents related to
the temperature control.
