: ON/OFF. For some channels that
contain Nicam sound, switch it ON or OFF here.

Audio
: Language A, Language B. When a
Nicam channel is selected and the Nicam sound
is ON, you can choose Language A or Language
B of the Nicam sound. Use the

] buttons to operate.

Skip
: Yes/No. Use the
T
or
S
and [
SELECT
]
buttons to select this item. You can select Yes
or No to decide whether to skip this channel.
z
Fine Tune
: Use the
T

S

SELECT

buttons to select this item and press the
W
or
X
button to tune the frequency lightly.
After the channel information is modified, select
OK and press the [
SELECT
] button to confirm.
Then return to the Channel Scan menu.
4. If you want to sort various channels again, select
the «Sort Channel Order» item, press the

S
and [
SELECT
] buttons to enter the «Channel
Sorting» menu, and operate as follows.

In the left dialog box, press the
T
or
S
button
to locate the channel to be changed.
z
Press the [
SELECT
] button to move this
channel to the right dialog box.
z
Press the
T

S
button to move this channel
to a desired location.
z
Press the [
SELECT
] button to insert the
channel. The original channel at this location
will move to the next location.
5. After completing the sorting, press the
[
RETURN
] button to exit.
Be sure to connect the antenna properly before the
channel scan operation. Make sure there are TV signals
at the TV Signal Input. For the connection chart, please
see the «Basic Information: System Connection for
Recording External Signals» for reference.

input field. Use the number buttons to enter the
time as «HH: MM: SS» and press the [
SELECT

button to confirm.
5. Press the [
RETURN
] button to return to the upper
level menu and setup other items. Or, press the
[
SETUP
] button to finish the settings and exit.
The correct setup of system clock is the prerequisite
for timer recording.
Standby
1. In the normal working status, press the red button
[
STANDBY/ON
] of the remote controller to enter
the Standby status.
z
In the Standby status, the VFD will display
current time as a clock. For the clock
adjustment, please see «System Setup: System
Clock Settings»
z
In the Standby status, the red Standby LED on
the front panel is ON.
z
To prevent damage, the operation is disabled
when the unit is writing or erasing a disc.
2. Press the [
STANDBY/ON
] button on the front
panel or the remote controller again, the system
will resume working.
z
In the normal status, the red Standby LED is
OFF.

2. In the system setup control bar menu, use the

button to move the cursor to the «Clock»
item and press the [

display the Time Settings dialog box, as shown in
