Loading media

1. Raise the cutter pinch roller by means of the pinch roller lever arm,

which is located on the left-hand side of the cutter, next to the control

panel.

2. Start feeding the media from the left hand side of the machine. Pass the

media underneath the pinch roller towards the right of the machine.

3. Align the media against the two dancer arm disc plates before lowering

the pinch roller lever arm.

4. To allow for the media to move through the machine in the correct alignment, the media should be thread-

ed through the machine from the unwind mandrel, aligned against the mandrel disc plates and attached to the

rewind mandrel before starting to cut.

KEEP FINGERS AND OTHER BODY PARTS AWAY FROM THE CUTTING

AREA. THERE ARE HAZARDOUS MOVING PARTS.

5. Lower the pinch roller lever to press the media firmly against the drive sleeves. After one second the tool

carriage automatically moves from the right to the left to sense the movement range of the mahine.

It is not recommended to unroll the media manually from the roll. The cutter will unroll the

media automatically during the load sequence or when the mandrel jog buttons are pressed.

6. Please not that the machine is not designed to cut sheet material.

7. The cutter is now ready.

Media load procedure

Do not place any objects in front of, or behind, the cutter that could interfere with cut-

ter operation. Make sure the media is free to move forward and back. Keep hands, hair, clothing and jewelry

away from moving parts.
