Connecting the

LF700

Digital Cutter to a

Computer

The

LF700

cutters support bi-directional USB

Connectivity

Please follow the instructions on Installing the software before connecting to the cutter for the first time.

failure to follow the setup instructions might cause the incomplete install of the USB driver and connectivity.

USB connection

The USB cable should be 2 meters or less in length. The connector on the cutter side of the cable should be

USB series B 4-pin. The connector on the computer side of the cable should be USB A 4-pin.

Connecting the

LF700

digital cutter to a PC using a USB cable

Power off the cutter.

Insert the

LF700

User CD into the computer’s CD-ROM

drive.

Let auto play run auto start (or start by hand).

• For connecting more than one cutter to one computer, see section on USB class.

• It is recommended to use always the latest version of the driver. The CD is made so that it downloads the

latest version automatically. If no internet connection is available, then it is possible that the driver on the

CD is outdated.

• When installing a cutter on Windows Vista or Windows 7, then make sure that the user has

administrative rights and that UAC is deactivated.

Do not connect the

iColor

LF700

to the PC yet, if you do the installation of the software can

be effected.
