UHF CB Transceiver
Voice Scramble
The scramble feature is a voice inversion function that provides additional privacy with
your communication.
Two scramble frequencies are available to choose from;
3300 Hz
and
2952 Hz
.
Make sure other radios you are communicating with are using the same scramble
frequency.
1. Press
[MENU]
, then use
[UP / DOWN]
to highlight
16 Scramble
.
2. Press
[MENU]
to select.
3. Press
[UP / DOWN]
to select an option.
4. Press and hold
[MENU]
to save & exit from the menu mode.
NOTE
For safety purposes Scramble is invalid on channel 5, 11, 22, 23 and 35.
NOTE
If a button is not pressed within 10 seconds the UHF CB Radio will
automatically exit the Menu Mode.
Microphone Gain
The microphone gain of the XTRAK can be adjusted across 10 levels.
Level 1 is minimum sensitivity. Level 10 is maximum sensitivity.
Increase the gain if you are a soft speaker or reduce the gain if you normally speak
loudly.
