9. ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
ATTENTION
- Before making any electrical connections, make sure that both units have been disconnected from the electricity supply.
- Make sure the systems to which the appliance should be connected comply with the applicable norms in force.
- Only use the cables provided with the appliance or, in the event of replacement due to damage, only use cables witha suitable section.
- Allow some extra length on the connection cables to allow for future maintenance.
- Never connect the power supply cable by cutting it in half as this could cause a blaze.
HOW TO ACCESS THE INTERNAL UNIT TERMINAL BOARD
1. Open the appliance front panel, unscrew the three screws on the grille as illustrated in the figure.
2. Unscrew the screws that fasten the P.C.B. cover.
HOW TO ACCESS THE EXTERNAL UNIT TERMINAL BOARD
1. Remove the terminal board cover.
2. Connect the connector of the signal cable (only featured on the heat pump models).
3. Connect the wires from the power supply cable to the terminal board according to the wiring diagrams illustrated below.
4. Fasten the cables using the cable clamp.
5. Put the cover back in place.
Note:
Remove the sheath from both ends of the connection wires in the power supply
cable as illustrated in the figure. Make sure the connection wires do not come into
contact with the piping or other metal parts.
