2.2. R05 - Functions
AUTO
AUTOMATIC
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button toselect the AUTO mode, the word AUTO will come up on
the display screen. In “AUTO” mode, the electronic control automatically selects the operating modeaccording to the room temperatu-
re (measured by the sensor incorporated intothe Internal Unit):
- If the temperature of the room exceeds the temperature set using the remotecontrol by two degrees, the appliance operates in coo-
ling mode.
- If the ambient temperature is lower than the temperature set using the remo-te control by 2°C, then the appliance comes to heating
mode.
COOL
COOLING
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button toselect the cooling mode, the word COOLwill come up on
the display screen. Inthis mode, the air conditioning unit cools down the room while at the same timereducing the humidity in the air.
Set the desired room temperature using the ▲▼ buttons. The appliance regulates the compressor’s operation cycles automatically
in order to keep the room at the desired temperature. Example: if the temperature in the room is 28°C, you should set a temperature
below 27°C for the compressor to start and the cooling to begin.
DRY
DEHUMIDIFICATION
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button toselect the dehumidification mode, the word DRYwill
come up on the displayscreen. This mode, with its
alternating cooling and ventilation cycles, is designed
toobtain the dehumidification of the air without the
room temperature being alte-red considerably. The fan
operating at low speed.
HEAT
HEATING
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control.
Press the MODE button toselect the heating mode,
the word HEAT will come up on the display screen.
In this mode, the air conditioning unit heats the room
by means of the “heat pump”operation. In fact, in this
mode, the room is heated using the heat contained
inthe outside air at a low temperature. For the heating
cycle to start, set a temperature above the room tem-
perature using the ▲▼ buttons. The appliance regulates the compressor’s operation cycles automatically inorder to keep the room at
the desired temperature.
Example: if the temperature in the room is 18°C, you should set a tem-perature above or equal to 19°C for the compressor to start
and heating to begin.
FAN
VENTILATION MODE
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button to select the ventilation mode, the word FAN will come
up on the display screen. This mode circulates air throughout the room. Press the FAN SPEED button to choose the fan speed
from:LOW (low), MED (medium), HIGH (high) or AUTO. If you select the AUTO speed, the electronic control chooses the fan speed
automatically.
FAN
SPEED SETTING
Press the FAN SPEED button to choose the fan speed from: LOW (low), MED (medium), HIGH (high) or AUTO. In AUTO mode, the
electronic control chooses the operating mode (COOL-HIGH) and the fan speed. This function automatically increases the speed
ofthe fan if a greater cooling or heating effect is required.
TIMER
This function allows you to turn the air conditioning unit on or off automatically atthe desired time.
TIMED STARTING
“TIMER ON”
Before programming the timed starting, check that the air conditioning unit is set tothe desired operating mode. Press the TIMER ON
button, ON will come up on the display, use the button to select the time at which you wish the appliance to come on. Confirm the set-
ting by pressing the OK button again. To disable the TIMER ON function, set the 0:00.
Warning:
if the programmed setting is not confirmed or cancelled, it will be deleted automatically after a few seconds.
TIMED STOPPING
“TIMER OFF”
To programme the stopping time, press the TIMER OFF button, OFF will come upon the display, use the button to select the time you
wish the appliance to stop. Confirm the setting by pressing the OK button. To disable the TIMER OFF function, set the 0:00.
Warning:
if the programmed setting is not confirmed or cancelled, it will be deletedautomatically after a few seconds.
SETTING THE CLOCK
The remote control features the clock function. Press the CLOCK button to see the correct time. Press the CLOCK button for 5
secpress the ▲▼ button for correct time, confirm the setting by pressing the OK button.

COOLING
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button to
select the cooling mode, the word COOL will come up on the display screen. In
this mode, the air conditioning unit cools down the room while at the same time
