SIMPLE MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION
- Unplug the appliance or switch off the dedicated switch before performing any opera-
tions (risk of personal injury from electrocution)
- Do not touch the air conditioning unit with wet hands (risk of personal injury from
electrocution).
- When cleaning the appliance, do not climb onto a table or unstable chair (risk of per-
sonal injury from falling from a height).
- When removing filters, take care not to touch any metal parts, especially the heat
exchanger inside the internal unit (risk of personal injury from cuts).
CLEANING THE ANTI-DUST FILTERS
Cleaning the filters regularly is essential for the optimal performance of the air conditio-
ning unit.
Open the front panel by pressing lightly (with a flathead screwdriver) in the insert at the
centre of the safety hook that locks the air outlet grille in place, then press downwards
to release the panel. Remove the filter with care. Clean filters with a vacuum-cleaner
or wash them in lukewarm water withmild soap. Make sure you dry them thoroughly
before putting them back inplace. Do not leave filters directly exposed to sunlight and
do not operate the airconditioning unit without them.
ACTIVATED CARBON FILTERS (optional)
The activated carbon filters, situated beneath the air filters, absorb the odoursand
smoke from the room; we recommend you replace them approximatelyevery 3/6
months.(the life of the filter depends on how much the appliance is used).
REPLACING THE BATTERIES REMOTE CONTROL
When:
- the Internal Unit does not emit a confirmation Beep.
- the liquid crystal display does not come on.
How:
- remove the cover by pulling it gently downwards as illustrated.
- replace the batteries, respecting the + and - symbols.
N.B.
- Use new batteries only.
- Remove the batteries from the remote control when the air conditioningunit is not in
use.
