Fundamentals of Operating Your SuperMac C500 Computer
Turning Your SuperMac C500 Computer On
To turn on the computer system for the first time:
1.
Turn on your display

See your monitor manual for the location of the power switch.
2.
If you have peripheral devices co
nnected to your com-
puter system turn on the power for these devices.
Wait a moment for all the external devices (particularly hard disk
drives) to reach their operating levels.
3.
Press the Power key on the keyboard to turn on the
computer.
The Power key is marked with a left-facing triangle .
You can also press the power button on the front of the computer to
turn it on. See “Your Computer at a Glance” in Chapter 3.
