5. DISTRIBUTION NODES
Entel Ultra 8 port distribution nodes (telephone or video) are supplied in IP65 enclosures for installation in
riser cupboards on each floor level or remote locations around the building.
5.01 DISTRIBUTION NODE OPTIONS
There are 4 models of distribution node; 8 port for standard telephone systems in an ABS or lockable
enclosure and 8 port for video systems in an ABS or lockable enclosure, see part numbers below;

5.02 LOCKABLE DISTRIBUTION NODES
For a higher level of security the distribution nodes can be supplied in IP65 lockable steel enclosures.
Dimensions: 300x300x150mm (HxWxD).
5.03 BOARD ID DIL SWITCH
Each distribution board has an 8 way DIL switch for setting a unique ID.
Distribution board ID’s are set in Binary – see table below;

Distribution board ID’s should start at “1” and run sequentially to a maximum of “255”.
Distribution board ID “0” (all DIL switches OFF) is NOT used.
