Managers within The White Ant Co who work in a supervisory role must ensure:
1.
Your team and workplace area is free from risk of illness or injury
2. The behaviour of individuals in your work area is consistent with health and safety principles
3. You report workplace incidents, and assist in investigations with the WHSO
As an employee of or subcontractor to The White Ant Co, you have the responsibility to:
1.
abide by all instructions given to you regarding workplace health and safety
2. take corrective action to eliminate hazards at work; reporting those hazards which cannot be
safely and readily corrected
3. seek first aid and treatment for injuries and illnesses; reporting these to your employer
4. use protective equipment if provided and properly instructed on use by us
5. be familiar with emergency evacuation procedures
6. never wilfully misuse or interfere with any thing provided for workplace health and safety
7.
never wilfully place another individual’s health and safety at risk at work
8. never wilfully injure or harm yourself at work
9. encourage others to maintain a safe and healthy working environment

accredited as our Workplace Health and Safety Adviser (WHSA) and will manage the health and
safety within our workplace, conduct regular inspections, report workplace health and safety
matters to the General Manager, educate you on workplace health and safety, and investigate and
report on incidents within the workplace.
