Custom
A sequence of events that allows you to watch/listen/record a
particular type of program. For example, you could create an
activity that turns on and sets up the devices needed to
record a particular program from your satellite provider.
Another custom activity might allow you to watch cable
television with surround sound.
Create an Activity
Before you create an activity, you will need to decide:

Activity name
Use the name supplied by the remote or enter another name
using the alphanumeric keypad.

Devices to turn on
Choose the devices that are needed to run this activity. The
devices must be on the smart remote list. If a device is not on
the list, you will have to add it to the remote before you can
create the activity.
•
A/V source
Choose the device that will provide the A/V input.
•
Display device
Choose the device that will display the A/V output, if
applicable.
•
Audio device
Choose the device that will provide the audio output.
Note: The new activity will be listed on the Activities screen. When you
play the activity, you may be prompted to confirm the activity is
working properly. If it is not, press Retry to try again.
