Both, the edge fi nder and the zero setter have a safety spring
range. This is why the products get not damaged in a slight
overtravel.

Safety/ Overtravel
- In Z axis, the edge fi nder has a safety
spring range of approx. 3 mm.
- In X/Y axis, the ball moves about ap-
prox. 2 mm (see image).
- In Z axis, the zero setter has a safety
spring range of approx. 2 mm.
