XIX.  Weather Alert, continued

Turn the weather alert function on or off by using these

steps:

1.  With the radio powered on, press the MODE

button ten times or until you see the "A"

indicator flashing and the current alert on / off

setting.

2. Press the UP (

You can "lock" the front panel buttons to prevent any

accidental changes in the programmable functions.

When in the locked state, only the P-T-T bar and

MONITOR button will be active.
