Talk Back Scan, continued
b) The radio will pause for 3 seconds to allow you
to respond to the transmitting party.
Vacant Channel (VC) Scan
In vacant channel scan mode:
If proper channel and tone are detected, the radio will
allow you to respond just as with talk back scan.
If channel and tone are not correct, the radio will seek
the nearest vacant channel to transmit. If all channels
are busy, the radio will sound an error beep and "B-quE"
will show on LCD for 1 second to indicate a "Busy
Queue". The radio will then return to scan mode.
Weather (WX) Scan
This function will scan the channel / tone settings, as
well as the NOAA weather frequencies Warning Alarm
Tone (WAT), which signals at 1050 Hz.
