Viewfinder
The viewfinder is used to determine the size
and the position of the photograph. The
actual photograph is recorded by the lens
and not by the viewfinder. The image may
differ when the digital zoom is used.

Camera status indicator
Displays the status of the camera.

Flash status indicator
Flashes when the flash is being charged.

LCD screen
Screen for recording and displaying.

Zoom out button
Zooms out of the photograph. (This can be
used to make the photograph look further
away.)

Zoom in button
Zooms in on the photograph. (This can be
used to make the photograph look closer.)

LCD button
Turns the LCD screen on and off.

Button for operating the
functions
For scrolling up/down/left/right through the
menu.
View previous/next photograph or video clip.
Left: Flash settings.
Up: Protect recording.
Right: Select automatic exposure /
Continuous shot.
Down: Delete recording.
Press button to confirm your selection (OK).

Menu button
Opens and closes the menu when the
camera is in the Capture mode or the
Playback mode.
