Zooming in or out
This camera has a 4x digital zoom. The digital zoom increases the size of the image
by digitally processing it.

Note:
It is not possible to use the digital zoom when the camera is set to the
5.5 Megapixel resolution.
Press the zoom in button (6, figure 2) to zoom in (the subject becomes closer).
Press the zoom out button (5, figure 2) to zoom out (the subject becomes further
away).
Whilst zooming in or out, the increase in size is displayed in the zoom bar on the left-
hand side of the LCD screen.
Note:
Use the LCD screen when using the digital zoom. Images are not
displayed in the viewfinder when using the digital zoom.
Note:
The quality of the image is reduced when using the digital zoom.
Note:
The digital zoom does not work when recording video clips.
11.2
Using the macro function (close-up photographs)
The Trust 920 PowerC@m Zoom has a macro function which can be used to take
photographs at a minimum distance of 45 cm.
Selecting the macro mode:
Rotate the lens (5, figure 1) to the correct position. See table 9 for an explanation.
Standard mode
Distance: 320 cm to infinity.
Portrait mode
Distance: 80 cm to 320 cm
This setting is ideal for taking photographs in the dark with the flash. It is
also recommended to take portrait photographs in this setting.
Macro mode (for taking close-up photographs).
Distance: 45 cm - 80 cm.
This setting can be selected to take close-up photographs.

Note
:
Do not forget to return the camera to the normal mode after taking
photographs in the macro mode. When in the macro mode, normal
photographs are not sharp. This is not noticeable through the
viewfinder.

The viewfinder may be inaccurate when the macro mode is selected.
Record a slightly larger image to avoid parts of the object not being
