Negative pressure (extract air)
Fig. 28: Drain trap for negative pressure
Calculation to be used for negative pressure (2900 Pa
max.):
R = P / 10 + C
R has to be at least 140 mm
H = R – A
Calculation example for X-CUBE compact with
plate heat exchanger:
Given data:
P
- 1800 Pa
GR - 110 mm
A
- 57 mm
C
- 53 mm
R = 1800 Pa / 10 + 53 mm = 233 mm
H = 233 – 57 = 176 mm
Positive pressure (supply air)
Fig. 29: Drain trap for positive pressure
Calculation to be used for positive pressure (1630 Pa
max.):
R = P
×
1.5 / 10 + 115 (40 + 75)
Always cut or extend pipes by the same length. Do
not cut a pipe by more than 155 mm.; R has to be at
least 215 mm.
H = R – A
Calculation example for X-CUBE compact acces-
sory heating coil/cooling coil:
Given data:
P
- 1500 Pa
GR - 110 mm
A
- 57 mm
R = 1500 Pa
×
1.5 / 10 + 115 mm = 340 mm
H = 340 – 57 = 283 mm
