Remove the fixing and the detent wheel from the selector drum. Discard the fixing.

Gear Change Detent Wheel - Installation

Lubricate the selector drum bearings with clean engine oil.

Refit the detent wheel to the selector drum, ensuring the pin on the drum locates
in the slot in the detent wheel. Prevent the drum from turning and tighten the fixing
