Marking parameters.
Marking quality generally depends on the following parameters:

Laser power

•
Scanner Parameters
.
•
Font and character size
•
Laser Beam Footprint (dot size)
•
Contrast and the wire type
10.1 Laser Power
Laser is shipped factory tuned to the optimum power output. As described in the
following chapters when machine is properly set it will always produce the same marking
contrast on the same types of wire. Apparent contrast deterioration is usually associated with the
loss of laser power. The power may be recovered using the following procedures:
1.
Increasing E-Pulse up to 50000
2.
Changing the spot after (preferably after 20000 hours)
3.
SHG auto tune
4.
THG auto tune
5.
Cleaning the objective and/or telescope lenses.
