QoS Configuration
You can configure Qos policy and priority setting, per port priority setting, COS and TOS
setting.
QoS Policy and Priority Type
Qos Policy:
select the Qos policy rule.
Using the 8,4,2,1 weight fair queue scheme:
The switch will follow 8:4:2:1 rate
to process priority queue from High to lowest queue. For example: the system
will process 80 % high queue traffic, 40 % middle queue traffic, 20 % low queue
traffic, and 10 % lowest queue traffic at the same time. And the traffic in the Low
Priority queue are not transmitted until all High, Medium, and Normal traffic are
serviced.
Use the strict priority scheme:
Always higher queue will be process first,
except higher queue is empty.
Priority Type:
there are 5 priority type selections available. Disable means no priority
type is selected.
Port-base:
the port priority will follow the
Port-base
that you have assigned – High,
middle, low, or lowest.
COS only:
the port priority will only follow the
COS priority
that you have
assigned.
TOS only:
the port priority will only follow the
TOS priority
that you have
assigned.
COS first:
the port priority will follow the COS priority first, and then other priority
