Simple Cleaning
To extend the life of the pressure cooker,
remove foods soon after each use. Hand-wash
and towel-dry to avoid food residue, especially
acid or alkali foods. The pressure cooker pot
and lid should be washed with warm water or
warm water with mild dishwashing soap and
a non-abrasive cleaning pad. Special caution
must be made not to destroy the rubber parts
in the lid.
Complete Cleaning
Pressure-Control Valve Cleaning:
Remove pressure-control valve after each use
by rotating part 6a counterclockwise to the
removing position, and remove the pressure-
control valve. Make sure the spring remains in
the valve. Rinse every part carefully in water
and reassemble together. Press part 6a to
confirm whether it turns smoothly, otherwise
the spring is not correctly fitted.

Pressure-Control Valve Base (part 7) and
Venting Pipe (part 3) Cleaning:
Check whether the venting devices are clean
after each use. Venting device cleaning can
be done in warm water and further as shown
(Fig. 16). Remove the valve and valve base
by unscrewing locking nut (part 6g). Confirm
whether the valve sealing ring (part 6f) is
clean and not broken or worn. Replace the
valve sealing ring if it is found to be broken
or worn. Wash every part in warm water.
Reassemble all parts.
Safety Valve (part 2) Cleaning:
Check to make certain the safety valve is
clean after each use by rinsing in warm water.
Replace the safety valve sealing ring if it is
found to be broken or worn.
Sealing Ring Cleaning:
Wash in warm water or warm sudsy water after
each use. It should be assembled according to
the diagram on page 3.
