Components & Features
1 - Pressure Safety Lock: Locks the lid and pot
together. Ensures pressure collects only when
lid is closed correctly. It can be opened when
pressure is completely released.
2 - Safety Valve: Releases pressure from the
pot when pressure exceeds the safe limit. It's
also used to prevent the lid from being opened
while the cooker is pressurized.
3 - Venting Pipe: Outlet for releasing steam
from the pressure cooker.
4 - Lid Handle: Removes the lid from the
pot. The lid handle also contains important
components vital to the function of the pressure
cooker.
5 - Pressure Indicator: Pressure indicator
moves up a few minutes after heated and
returns to its original position when pressure is
completely released.
6 - Pressure Control Valve: Controls the
pressure setting. 1 indicates a low pressure
level, while 2 indicates a high pressure level.

7 - Pressure Control Valve Base: Part of
pressure control device.
8 - Lid: Made of 18/10 stainless steel. Marked
with an O to denote the proper position where
the pot and lid fit together.
9 - Safety Vent: Area where sealing ring extrudes
when pressure level exceeds safe limits.
