mA + Xmtr Supply
(optional)
To (de-)activate the mA + Transmi
tter Supply select the “mA + Xmtr supply” using the ‘ARROW’
keys and press ‘ENTER’
key (F1).
The display will show the measured cur

Xmtr Power Setup
(optional)
In the “Xmtr power setup” a set time can be selected from 0 to 9
minutes using the ‘ARROW’ keys. When the correct time is entered
press the ‘ENTER’ key
(F1) to continue.
When selecting a zero, the Xmtr supply will be on
continuously. When a time between 1 - 9 minutes is
selected the Xmtr supply will be switched off after the set
time. However, this is only done when the pressure change
limit has not exceeded in the meantime. When the pressure
change has exceeded the limit, the timer is reset to zero
and starts again.
In the next screen a value can be entered from 0.1 to 99.9% FS using the ‘ARROW’ keys. The
entered time and the limit will be saved in the internal memory and will be used immediately to
switch the Xmtr supply on or off.
The transmitter supply increases the current drawn from the batteries, use it only when
needed.
3.2.4
Resistance input
(optional)
This option is for measuring resistances in 2 wire, 3 wire or 4
wire mode and is for measuring resistances in the range of 0
–
4000 ohm. This input is auto ranging and has two ranges, 0
–
400 ohm and 400
–
4000 ohm.
When you select this menu option first you can select to switch
this mode ‘on’ or ‘off’. When you select ‘on’ a new menu is
displayed that enables you to select how the resistor will be
connected.
When the connection mode is selected you come back to the
menu and by pressing the back key (several times) you return
to the measuring screen.
The top of the display shows how the resistor should be
connected for the mode you selected.
When a resistor is connected the resistance of that resistor is
displayed. The text ‘OPEN’ will be displayed if no resistor is
connected or when a resistor is incorrectly connected.
3.2.5
RTD input
(optional)
With this option it is possible to measure temperatures using
several types of RTD’s.
After selecting this function you must select the RTD type, 2- 3- or 4 wire connection mode and
