General Lubrication
Cables
None of the cables require lubrication;
however, it is advisable to lubricate the
ends of the cables periodically with a
good cable lubricant.
Engine Oil and Filter
Change
Change the engine oil and oil filter at the
scheduled intervals. The engine should
always be warm when the oil is changed
so the oil will drain easily and completely.
NOTE: The rear cargo tray must
be removed to access the oil tank
and top of the engine.
1. Park the vehicle on level ground.
2. Loosen the oil level stick. Be careful
not to allow contaminants to enter the
opening.

3. Loosen the fill plug on top of the
valve cover. Be careful not to allow
contaminants to enter the opening.

4. Remove the drain plug and crush
washer from the bottom of the oil
tank. Use a funnel to direct the oil
into a drain pan.
