13. MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE OF EACH OPERATION
•
Check and tighten all bolts and nuts. Mainly inspect and tighten frequently the bolts
securing the chassis to the main gearbox as well as the rotary hoe knives, steering
wheels, gearbox and the support arm with the cultivator's drive shaft housings, frame the
handlebars with the gearbox cover, and other components.
•
Clean any mud or dirt, oil stains, etc. Check for oil and fuel leaks.
•
Lubricate the machine according to the lubrication plan.
•
If you are working in a dusty environment, clean the air filter element and replace the oil
(SAE 15W-40 or 20W-40).
•
According to the need for technical maintenance of the diesel engine, perform
maintenance as indicated in the engine manual.
MAINTENANCE EVERY 100 HOURS
•
Perform the same procedures performed on daily maintenance.
•
Check and adjust the drive chain tension of the rotary spindle.
•
Check and adjust belt tension V.
•
Check and adjust the spacing between the clutch adjustment lever heads and bearings.
•
Check and adjust the brake system.
•
Check that the breather bore of the oil plug is free of any dirt.
•
Check tire pressure.
•
Lubricate the machine according to the Lubrication Chart.
•
Clean the battery with a cloth, check the electrolyte level that should be between 10 - 15
mm above the pole plates (if the battery is not sealed), replace with distilled water if
necessary. Clean the terminals and lubricate with grease to prevent corrosion;
•
Clean the air filter element and replace the oil (SAE 15W-40 or 20W-40).
•
According to the need for technical maintenance of the diesel engine, perform
maintenance as indicated in the engine manual.
MAINTENANCE AFTER 500 HOURS OF USE
•
Perform the same procedures indicated by the maintenance each period and
maintenance of 100 hours.
•
Rinse the gearbox and renew the lubricant.
•
Lubricate the machine according to the lubrication plan.
•
According to the need for technical maintenance of the diesel engine, perform
maintenance as indicated in the engine manual.
