Installation

To install the top cover, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-8 through 4-10.

Set the back edge of the top cover in place and connect the

display cable to PJ10

LED cable

PJ16

keyboard cable

PJ8,

and

AccuPoint

cable

PJ503

(Figure 4-10).

Turn the computer upside down and press firmly at the display latch until the
bottom and top covers snap into place (Figure 4-9).

Close the computer, and secure the top cover with

seven M2.5x8 silver screws

and

two M2.5x4 screws

(Figure 4-8).

Replace the optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card, and battery pack as
described in sections 4.4 through 4.2.
