Executing the Diagnostic Test
Toshiba MS-DOS is required to run the DIAGNOSTICS PROGRAM. To start the DIAG-
NOSTIC PROGRAM follow these steps:
1.
Insert the Diagnostics disk in the computer’s floppy disk drive and turn on the
computer.
2.
At the system prompt, change to drive A and type the test command or
CDROMDRV
(CD-ROM test only),
then press
Enter
.
The following menu will appear:

DIAGNOSTICS MENU :
1 - DIAGNOSTIC TEST
2 - HARD DISK FORMAT

8 - SYSTEM CONFIGURATION
9 - EXIT TO MS-DOS
0 - SETUP

: To exit the 400 series DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU, press the
Esc
key. If a test program is in progress, press
Ctrl
+
Break
to exit the test
program or press

to stop the test program.
