4.30  TFT FL (Model 14.1 SHARP) 

CAUTION

: When you replace the fluorescent lamp, wear finger covers or gloves to 

avoid contaminating or damaging the LCD panel. Be careful not to let dust or other 
foreign matter into the module. 

 

Removing the TFT FL (Model 14.1 SHARP) 

To remove the TFT FL (Model 14.1 SHARP), follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-
85 to 4-89. 

1.  Turn the LCD module upside down. 

2. Remove 

protective cover-S

, 

protective cover-G

, the 

aluminum tape

, 

tape

 securing 

the wire and 

tape

 applied to the back of the LCD module. Be careful not to damage 

the TCP or ICs. (Dispose of the protective covers and tape you removed.) 

3.  Lift up the part of the 

shield tape

 that covers the back of the LCD module. Be careful 

not to lift up any other part of the tape.
