A 3.5-inch FDD accommodates both 2HD (1.44MB) and 2DD (720KB) disks.

CD-ROM Drive 

A full-size, maximum 24-speed CD-ROM drive, contains an AT Attachment Packet 
Interface (ATAPI) controller, and supports the following formats: Audio CD, ISO 
9660, Photo-CD, CD-Extra, CD-R (read only) and CD-Rewritable (read only). 

DVD-ROM Drive 

A full-size drive that runs either 12cm (4.72-inch) or 8cm (3.15-inch) DVD/CDs 
without an adaptor. It plays DVDs at a maximum 8-speed and reads CDs at maximum 
24-speed. It supports the following formats: DVD-ROM, DVD-R (read only), DVD-
Video, Audio CD, Photo-CD, ISO 9660, CD-Extra, CD-R (read only) and CD-
Rewritable (read only).

CD-R/RW Drive 

A full-size, maximum 24-speed CD-ROM drive, maximum 8-speed CD-R writing 
and maximum 8-speed CD-RW writing, maximum 8-speed CD-RW reading, 
maximum 24-speed CD-ROM/CD-RW reading, contains an AT Attachment Packet 
Interface (ATAPI) controller, and supports the following formats: Video CD, CD-
EXTRA, Audio CD, Photo CD, CD-R, CD-ROM, CD-Rewritable, CD-ROM x A, 
CD-DA and CD-Text.

Multi Drive 

This drive is a combination DVD-ROM and CD-R/RW Drive. It is full-size and runs 
either 12cm (4.72-inch) or 8cm (3.15-inch) DVD/CDs without an adaptor. It plays 
DVDs at a maximum 8-speed, writes CD-R at maximum 8-speed CD-R, writes CD-
RW at maximum 8-speed, and reads CDs at maximum 24-speed. This drive supports 
the following formats: CD-ROM, CD-RW, Audio CD, DVD-ROM, Photo CD, DVD-
R (read only), CD-EXTRA, DVD Video and CD-R.
