Receiving calls

You have an incoming call

Tap

(Answer) or press

• If you have a call while in sleep mode, while the screen is

locked, or while the screen for the lock release patter/code
input is displayed, drag the appropriate icon from the right
edge to the left edge.

■ To decline a call

Tap

(Decline) or press

for one second or more.

■ To receive a call and play the on-hold tone

(answer and hold)

Tap

(Hold).

While holding a call, tap "Unhold" to open the line and talk.

■ To silence the ring tone temporarily

Tap

When you have finished the call, tap "End" or

press

◎ If your face, or something, comes close to the proximity sensor

during a call, the display goes out, it is redisplayed by moving
away from the sensor.

◎ You can adjust the volume (loudness of the other party) while you

are making a call by pressing

About answer and hold

◎ The other party is charged for the call while they are on hold.
